Environmental Responsibility

With the Grain prides itself on taking environment responsiblity very seriously. From focusing on eco-conscious construction practices to giving back and supporting efforts that make our valley cleaner, we’re dedicated to going the extra mile.

The Good Neighbor Program
We’ve created the Good Neighbor Program, which outlines the company’s commitment to safe, considerate, and environmentally conscience work sites. Our good neighbor practices respect other people and their property and protect public safety by requiring project subcontractors and vendors to maintain clean and safe work areas. Project sites may be fenced, trash is disposed of in appropriate onsite dumpsters, recyclables are sorted and reused or recycled, and portable restrooms are regularly cleaned and maintained.

RAD Roadside Cleanup
With The Grain participates annually in a roadside clean-up project put on by RAD Curbside Inc. Our employees cover a mile of roadside, picking up litter to help beauty and enhance our community.

Recyclers of the Year, 2017
With the Grain was awarded for their efforts in recycling project waste in 2017. Teton County Solid Waste’s manager, Saul Valera was quoted:

“Our diversion rate would increase tremendously if companies followed With The Grain’s example,” Valera said. “Non-traditional recycling is the lowest hanging fruit when it comes to diverting waste in Teton County with the most volume of waste coming from construction. If you took the 28 tons that they divert and had the 20 construction companies that dump here do the same thing as With The Grain, that’s a 560 increase in tonnage diverted a year.”
