Here is what you can expect from the building process:

Pricing

We start with a high-level, square foot pricing calculation based on current trends and projects; we call this an “in-house” estimate. Once we have a full set of construction drawings, we send out the plans to subcontractors and vendors to get an accurate whole-house proposal. This typically takes 4-6 weeks to complete. Then, we look at potential cost savings before making it into our Build Contract Proposal.

Permitting

The permitting process happens once we have a full set of architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings that meet local codes. The permitting process differs slightly between Teton County, WY and Teton County, ID but the review process can be anywhere from 6-15 weeks. Typically, we are completing our Build Contract Proposal during this review process.

Construction

Due to winter weather, most of our projects start in the spring or summer. Our ideal goal is to have all the framing and a “dried-in shell” completed before the snow flies. Construction duration depends on the size and complexity of the project. Typical builds are 12-18 months.
